Media curtain

It is a huge cylindrical media curtain measuring 2m and 80cm in height and 1m and 70cm in diameter. Developed by CUZ, the installation is a projection mapping work in which colorful media art content is projected onto numerous threads coming down from circular pipes installed on the ceiling. Light passes through the thread and allows both the person outside the cylinder and the person inside to have a fantastic experience that seems to be out of reality. This content provides a more realistic experience by applying audio visualization technology that responds to music in real time as well as already made videos.
本インスタレーションは、高さ2m・80cm、直径1m・70cmの巨大な円筒形のメディアカーテンです。CUZが開発したこのインスタレーションは、天井に設置された円形のパイプから降りてくる無数の糸に、色とりどりのメディアアートコンテンツが投影されるプロジェクションマッピング作品です。光が糸を通過することで、円筒の外にいる人も中にいる人も、現実離れしたような幻想的な体験ができる。このコンテンツは、既成の映像だけでなく、音楽にリアルタイムで反応するオーディオビジュアライゼーション技術を応用することで、よりリアルな体験ができるようになっています。
