Art Tech House, a museum that exhibits and creates

Art Tech House (ARTECTHOUSE)

ArtTek House is America's innovative art space for immersive, interactive exhibitions.

It is an art museum that experiments with creative expression with new techniques and forms and showcases the works of groundbreaking new media artists. And because we create and exhibit works with originality, It is also a group of media art artists who create themselves while performing the function of an art museum.

At the Art Tech House, visitors can experience an interactive experience that encourages participation. There are galleries in Washington DC, New York City, and Miami Beach, respectively. Among them, the Washington Gallery sells drinks and cocktails that can view AR-augmented images through an application. According to the theme of the exhibition, augmented images and menus are changed to add new fun to the visitors.

Art Tech House Original (ARTECTHOUSE original)

The Arttech House creative team works at the forefront of art and technology, developing, producing and presenting immersive experiences that cross genres. And by collaborating with various artists, they add originality to their works and convey the world of their works to the audience.

Renewal 2121 (RENEWAL 2121)

Renewal 2121 was created in collaboration with artists from various fields around the world, including visual design by graphic designer Yuya Takeda and music by Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot. It will be exhibited from March 15th to September 6th, 2021.

Renewal 2121, inspired by the cherry blossom season that blooms every year and produced using creative technology, was created to inspire hope amid global pandemic and concerns about climate change. Leading us to the future after 100 years, nature struggles in the city to survive in an overdeveloped metropolis, immersing the audience in it.

Paradoxically, while presenting a gloomy future 100 years from now, we can feel a hopeful message in the image of flowers blooming through plastic, concrete, and neon. It has a theme that can be prepared for.

Submerge

This installation art work was produced in collaboration with Arttech House and Intus Interactive Design. Collaborated to reveal Pantone's 2020 Color of the Year, a color specialist, and was exhibited for a limited time from February 5 to 23, 2020.

Inscribed in a soothing color for the mind, classic blue brings peace and tranquility to the human spirit and provides shelter. This exhibition takes our thoughts into the boundless blue realm and immerses the visitor. It also evokes the immensity of the infinite evening sky at dusk and the vastness of the deep and calm sea.

And there are works that are exhibited along with the original works, and I would like to introduce the works of the two artists currently on display.

GEOMETRIC PROPERTIES

Open from March 1 to September 6, 2021, the exhibition explores geometric patterns through endless repetition and multi-dimensional creative digital expression of fractals, stimulating existential self-reflection and highlighting the pure wonder of existence. . The sheer beauty of mathematics, nature and architecture has the theme of a cinematic journey that invites reflection and awe.

The artist regards his art as a journey of discovery, delivering fractal images that look unique to the viewer's eyes. It tells the world of science fiction, which was created using visual design, 3D modeling and motion graphics. It is exhibited along with the original works of the Arttech House creative team.

Vince Fraser

The artist sees himself as a new type of artist in the digital age. Bridging the gap between the fantasy world and reality, African surrealist Vince Fraser's mission is to inspire positive and powerful images of African culture and power their global dissemination.

We rise above

Using augmented reality and art tech applications, you can experience Vince Fraser's Afro-surrealist art along with the anniversary of the March on Washington and the anniversary of the Black Lives Matter movement, and it is a monumental work that makes you think about the human rights of black people as an individual. . It was released as an application in August 2020.

AṢẸ: AFRO FREQUENCIES

This work is the artist's second collaboration with Arttech House.

Inspired by the philosophy of AṢẸ, a West African concept related to our power to make a difference, this work celebrates the historical, social and cultural aspects of black people through the perspective of artist Vince Fraser. And to express it vividly and deliver it to the audience, visual materials and interactive technology were used. It will be on display from May 17, 2021 to November 7, 2021.

concluding remarks

In this way, museums can communicate with the audience by creating themselves as well as exhibiting activities. And, by collaborating with various local artists, you can carry out the mission of promoting them to the world, expand your world view, and increase the originality of your work. I hope that there will be more art galleries and museums like this in Korea, and that media art will have more opportunities to reach the audience.
